DTU Clinician wins Oxford College scholarship

03-Apr-2012

Congratulations to our senior clinical researcher Dr Harald Sourij, who has been appointed the Robert Turner Research Associate for one year at Green Templeton College (GTC), University of Oxford.

Harald is the Academic Clinical Lead for one of our international megatrials, EXSCEL (EXenatide Study of Cardiovascular Event Lowering).

The scholarship was set up by GTC Associate Fellow Dr Jennie Turner in memory of her husband, who was a founding Fellow of the former Green College. The college scholarship allows postgraduate physicians or scientists, visiting from abroad and working in the field of diabetes or related disciplines in Oxford, to become actively involved with the College.

"It is a great honour to hold a Research Associate position named after one of the most prestigious contributors to diabetes research in the 20th century," says Harald. "I am looking forward to being involved in College life."
