Since the first subject was enrolled in December 2008, TECOS has witnessed a number of study milestones. The majority of sites are now actively enrolling patients. Meetings have been held in all regions, namely USA, EU, Asia and Australia. These meetings provide an opportunity for doctors and nurses taking part in TECOS to meet each other and share ideas and experiences.
To date, the TECOS Data Safety Monitoring Board has met twice to evaluate all available study data and have recommended that the study continues as planned.
